LEADERSHIP SELF-ASSESSMENT

Leaders at CCCC are involved in discipling people to become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ. It is important to know that you can’t lead people to where you have never been. Therefore, those in leadership positions are expected to be continually growing into fully devoted followers of Jesus as well. The Elders at CCCC have established 8 Practices that are intended to help followers of Jesus immerse themselves deeper into the Gospel, thereby fostering Gospel-centric behavior. Growth in each practice is reflected in living out the following expectations.

SCRIPTURE

• Consistently read and study the Bible letting it shape what you think, feel, and do.

PRAYER

• Structure your day around your relationship with God, incorporating various methods of prayer, meditation, fasting, and silence.

SABBATH

• Practice a healthy rhythm of work and sabbath by pausing in your week to stop work; rest, delight in and worship God.

SIMPLICITY

• Remove life’s complexities like materialism, clutter, and busyness to cultivate a single-minded focus on Christ and his Kingdom.

COMMUNITY

• Live a life fully engaged in biblical community and actively participate in group.
• Strive to have reconciled and peaceful relationships with those inside and outside of the church.
• Consistently participate in corporate worship with God’s people.
• Commit to having grace and truth conversations.

VOCATION

• Explore your God-given gifts, strengths, and personality in your work, service, and calling for God's mission.
• Seek to glorify God in all areas and spaces of life. GENEROSITY
• Give at least 10 percent of your gross income to God through the general fund at CCCC.
• Use spiritual gifts and time to serve both within CCCC and the broader community.

EVANGELISM

• Consistently pray for and engage with your Top 5.
• Exhibit a missional lifestyle by engaging with and serving the community.
• Demonstrate a commitment to, and plan for, Kingdom multiplication.
